Become a "COFREND certified representative" for Leak Testing.

Non-destructive testing can be used to detect, position, identify and dimension faults in a part, a structure or an assembly. It must be performed by qualified personnel, known as non-destructive testing representative who respect the applicable regulations, codes, standards and specifications.

COFREND certification recognises the skills of a representative for a given qualification level, a precise inspection method and a specific industrial environment.

40-30 offers three training courses, according to directive TC 138 WI 100, to enable access to COFREND Leak Testing certification.

3 TRAININGS COURSES FOR 3 CERTICATIONS

COFREND LEAK TESTING TRAINING LEVEL 1 (theory and practice)
The training must provide the representative to carrie out the following:
- Adjusting the device
- Performing inspections
- Taking down and classifying results according to written criteria
- Reporting results and the data required for using them

COFREND LEAK TESTING TRAINING LEVEL 2 (theory and practice)
The training must provide the representative to carrie out the following:
- Choosing the test technique
- Identifying faults
- Drawing up a diagnosis according to the results, according to reference criteria.
- Describing in a simple manner (operating mode) an instruction to a level 1 agent, specifying the choice of the inspection method or technique to be used, as well as the notation and classification criteria.

COFREND LEAK TESTING TRAINING LEVEL 3 (theory)
In addition to the skills of level 2, the representative must readily understand the problems that arise in production and maintenance. For this purpose, the agent must suggest a possible additional characterisation technique and/or method, and define the acceptance criteria when none have been set. The agent must also be capable of supervising agents with levels below 3.

EXPERIENCED MENTOR : THE ADVANTAGES OF OUR TRAINING

Our trainer is a Cofrend Leak Testing LT Level 3 engineer, expert in vacuum and leak testing with a significant experience in industry as well as a teacher.

Our training center is situated within 40-30.

Training sessions are a succession of lectures, demonstrations and supervised practical works.

IMPLEMENTATION AND PROGRESS OF TRAINING WITH 40-30 TECHNICAL PERSONNEL

Integrated into 40-30's quality program each training has been organised to achieve the customers expectation. In addition 40-30 organises testing to ensure that the students have adsorbed and understood the course they have attended.

These training packages will be formed through open discussions, viewing existing practices, reviewing existing documentation during customers service activities.
